The Gray Catbird is a breeding resident who is  fairly common in Big Canoe from May through September. It is a secretive bird that lives in thickets. and is commonly seen about the parking lot of the POA. Both sexes are the same. It is a gray bird with a black cap that has a reddish undertail coverets.
